A hotel ship for the Asian Games
At the 2026 Asian Games in Japan, from September 19 to October 4, many athletes stayed on a big cruise ship.
Where do athletes sleep at a big sports event? Often, they stay in a special athletes' village. But the 2026 Asian Games in Japan had no village like that. Instead, many athletes stayed on a big cruise ship!
The Games took place from September 19 to October 4, 2026. The ship arrived at Nagoya Port four days before the start. Samurai and ninja performers and taiko drummers welcomed it.
