Repair Day turns ten: fixing things together

International Repair Day was on Saturday, October 17, 2026. It was the tenth Repair Day. The first one was in 2017. Every October, people around the world celebrate fixing things.

This year, the big idea was “repair brings us together.” Groups in many countries planned repair festivals. At repair events, people bring clothes, lamps, bikes and toys. Volunteers help them fix their broken things. In past years, some groups taught children to fix their school things.
